If you've not seen this week's comics from DC yet, the back cover features a might-purty full color ad for the grodd 6-pack. Nice to see post-SDCC, a big push at advertising. Do ads in DC comics count as exclusive magazine scans? If not, I'll post pics. EDIT: here it is, but if this is out of order, please Moderators, pull it down. Davy

what an awesome ad!!!! Unless I'm mistaken, this is the 1st ad that I recall seeing for the JLU line in the books.

What a great ad, I love the hall of doom in the background.

I think there was one other Print ad--but it ran in ToyFare or something. Running these on the back of comics is a great move. Lots of exposure! I hope that doesnt make them too hard to find.

I'm actually very excited to see this. See - that's one way to offer proof (instead of just hype) that you're committed to a line. You don't spend the extra money on something like this if you aren't gonna support it.
I could have sworn that I had seen ads for the line before though, but it's been a LONG time. Don't hold me to that though...
And Grodd still rocks.

I think there was a Grundy ad somewhere at some point, but don't quote me on it.

You don't spend the extra money on something like this if you aren't gonna support it. Exactly. And the timing. The first "comic book day" after Grodd shown & Red Hood announced/shown at Comic-Con. This was quite planned to keep these figures in the public eye a little longer than just the weekend. And it's on every DC book I bought today. Davy

This ad looks so cool! But is it just me, or does Grodd's head look different than the pic we first saw of him?

The ad is very cool...can't wait to see it on shelves. And the Hall of Doom in the back is a great touch! (Of course, me being anal,...technically Joker wasn't a member of the Legion, but ah, what the heck! )
