If you've not seen this week's comics from DC yet, the back cover features a might-purty full color ad for the grodd 6-pack. Nice to see post-SDCC, a big push at advertising.

Do ads in DC comics count as exclusive magazine scans? If not, I'll post pics.

EDIT: here it is, but if this is out of order, please Moderators, pull it down.

what an awesome ad!!!! Unless I'm mistaken, this is the 1st ad that I recall seeing for the JLU line in the books.

awesome, if there is an ad it'll be in stores soon, probably with the August reset.

What a great ad, I love the hall of doom in the background.

I think there was one other Print ad--but it ran in ToyFare or something. Running these on the back of comics is a great move. Lots of exposure! I hope that doesnt make them too hard to find.

I'm actually very excited to see this. See - that's one way to offer proof (instead of just hype) that you're committed to a line. You don't spend the extra money on something like this if you aren't gonna support it.

I could have sworn that I had seen ads for the line before though, but it's been a LONG time. Don't hold me to that though...

And Grodd still rocks.

I think there was a Grundy ad somewhere at some point, but don't quote me on it.

Exactly.

And the timing. The first "comic book day" after Grodd shown & Red Hood announced/shown at Comic-Con. This was quite planned to keep these figures in the public eye a little longer than just the weekend.

And it's on every DC book I bought today.

This ad looks so cool! But is it just me, or does Grodd's head look different than the pic we first saw of him? :?:

It does a bit, now that you mention it.

The ad is very cool...can't wait to see it on shelves. And the Hall of Doom in the back is a great touch!

(Of course, me being anal,...technically Joker wasn't a member of the Legion, but ah, what the heck! :D )

What a fantastic ad -- yeah, I'm taking this as a sign of Mattel's commitment to the line. Hope lots of people buy these up!
