I saw this posted over on the DC Direct boards so I thought I would share it here ...

Big Lots has the new DCSH waves including Cyborg Superman and JLU 3 packs with Hawkman and Joker.

I haven't been yet myself but plan to check it out tomorrow.

Iwill confirm or deny once I see for myself.

Hmm, that's weird. They usually only have the older stuff. I've seen lots of Batman figures and older JLU stuff - Watchtower, Darkseid, lots of Supes. I'll check it out tomorrow too.

Its strange... they do usually get older stuff and such, but they also had the initial Darkseid / Luthor DCSH wave immediately upon release. I think in fact just those two but from day one.

It is true!

Big Lots has a HUGE endcap (and then some) of JLU, DCSH, Superfriends, and old Batman figures (including a new-ish 2 Pack of Batman and Joker).

Today I picked up the HAWKMAN 3 pack and the JOKER 3 pack, the Batman, Superman, and Flash Superfriends, and the DCSH 6" CYBORG SUPERMAN!

and then I went to Target and they have a beautiful new shelf setup with NO NEW FIGURES WHATSOEVER!

There are 6 EMPTY PEGS for Superfriends.
There are 3 EMPTY pegs for DCSH
There are 2 pegs for JLU single figures (they had an Orange Metamorpho and Black Dahlia Superman) and 2 pegs for JLU 3 packs FULLY STOCKED with GL 3pack (Kyle, Arkiss, and Katma)!! YEAH BABY!

The shelfs underneath are marked for "my first batmobile", the Superfriends Deluxe figure/vehicle combos, and the JLU 6pack (doesn't say which).

I have to say ... I am Loving BIG LOTS right now, Target .... not so much.

Now all I am missing is: Blue Devil single, Mr. Miracle/Orion/Darkseid, Fire/Ice, Obsidian/Sand, and Star Sapphire packs.

Keepin on lookin I guess, but I am more hopeful now than I was a day/week/month/half-a-year ago.

how many cyborg supes and hawkman 3 packs were there, you would be hero if you picked those up for me!!!

How much are they at Big Lots?

If you happen upon another Cyborg Superman, I'll gladly pay you for him and whatever it'd cost to ship to Canada!

Wouldn't it be funny if those cases were supposed to be on those empty pegs at Target and, a la MOTU Snakemen, they wound up at a discount store, Big Lots?

Prices were about the same as Target.

$9 for JLU and DCSH
$7.50 for Superfriends

I didn't bother with the batman stuff simply because I don't need/want any of those repaints from several years ago.

I DID get extra Hawkman and Joker pack (the store had two and I got them both! hint hint) ALSO, the stock person said that they SHOULD have more as soon as this stock starts to run low so I will head back in a day or so and check again.

There was only ! Cyborg Supes and he is already open and on my shelf, sorry.

The store had several Steels, Monguls, and Parasites, and I saw a BLACK SUIT SUPERMAN there as well. No BLue Supergirl so I am still looking for her.

Give me a PM if there is anything in particular I can look for.

Big Lots in my area had a case of:

1 Cyborg Superman
1 Black suit Superman
1 Regular Superman
1 Steel
1 mongul
1 parasite

Cyborg Superman was being taken as I arrived - dang!!

Also had the hawkman 3-pack and joker 3-pack

I'll have to try another BL tomorrow.

Went to mine at lunch, and they had nothing. But the manager said their truck was late this week and wouldn't be in until tomorrow. So I will be checking back.

Went today and found all of the above; snagged the only two Cyborg Supes for me & Marx.

Got two Hawkman sets (check the front page in a minute to see why) but must have put down my Joker pack when i picked up the second Hawkman and didn't realize it until I got home.

But I figure I'll find it again. Big Lots had lots of the Joker pack comparatively.

hmm--I have the lighter/brighter "variant". I think they are both pretty good.

A quick little addendum to the Otter's post ...

the lighter of the Hawkman figures also seems to have a more transparent hawk chest emblem. Yuo can actually SEE THROUGH the circle to the crossing of the "strap" paint apps.
