Hasbro is doing the same sort of Q&A with GI JOE as they have been doing with Star Wars.
So we are now collecting questions about all things JOE for the next session. Get them in ASAP so we can make the Friday deadline. I'll send in 3 each round.
Thanks, D.

What's the thought process behind releasing the Cobra Trooper both in a five-pack and on a single card?
Since Lady Jaye & Serpentor are due out, does that mean that a character's current status in the comics doesn't matter in terms of their likelihood of being released?

On the Hasbro web site you had a poll asking what sub line we would like to see reintroduced in to the 25th anniversary line and one of the options was Street Fighter. Was that a serious question that could lead to new versions of Guile, M. Bison, Ryu and Chun Li in 08?
Also what are the chances that Sargent Slaughter could get a new figure in the 25th anniversary style?

Any chance we could see a GI Joe line in 2008 similar to Superhero Squad/Galactic Heroes?

Will the upcoming Zartan figure be coming with his "Joe adventure team" mask and be cast in the "turn green in the sunlight" plastic like the original figure?

We saw a Sgt. Slaughter custom made by Hasbro at the SDCC. Sgt. Slaughter was HUGE part of the 80's GI Joe and he's always a guest a Joe Con and SDCC for Hasbro. When will we be getting a 25th Anniversary Sgt. Slaughter? Fans very much want this figure!

I've noticed an emphasis on the 25th anniversary characters from the classic comic GI JOE #21 (aka Silent Interlude) - it's nice to see this great comic has fans at Hasbro.
Any plans for a battle-pack or collector's set featuring the characters from this comic? (Snake eyes, Scarlett, Storm Shadow, 3 Red ninjas, Destro, Hooded Cobra Commander and Cobra Troopers)

When can we expect to hear an announcement about characters/figures beyond the initial #25? There have been some rumored names bouncing around the 'net (Hawk, Major Bludd, etc.), but as far as I know nothing confirmed.

The others after the first 25 have been more or less confirmed by the characters shown in the playing card giveaway set at SDCC - Rock n Roll, Snow Job, Torpedo, Major Bludd, etc.
I'll try to dig up a thread on JBL that shows/tells all the characters. There's a bunch of repaints in there too, like Stealth Firely, camo Snow Job, Roadblock V2.

Will we ever get something similar to the Star Wars VOTC cards where Joes are packaged in true repro vintage packaging?
The current cards are close but no cigar(Logo is too small, silver foil instead of white, no J-hook, warning label on an outside clamshell etc.)

Any idea who is distributing the 25 anniversary Joes in Canada and when they will be coming out?
