Ya know, it doesn't matter which of the Earth based Lanterns they do first, there is a faction of the fans that will be livid that "their" Lantern "doesn't exist to Mattel". I think Mattel's best line of defense would be to just bite the bullet and do a wave with Hal, Kyle, Guy and John with a variant for each one in current and classic costumes. They could even drop the BAF for that wave and include a limited articulation Guardian (4-5 different head sculpts) with each one of them.
Personally, I think with patience we'll get all of the main Lanterns eventually, I just want them to be designed with light-up rings. C'mon if Jack-in-the-Box can do it for a kids' meal toy then Mattel can surely do it for a $10 action figure, right?...

Can't vote for just one. We need a GL Corps. That should've been an option.

It's pretty safe to say everyone wants them all, maybe the poll should be which one do you want FIRST! I vote Hal

Ok, here's how they should roll out the GL figures. 1-Hal (classic 1st version suit) 2-Hal (classic 70's Neal Adams look) 3-Hal/Parallax 4-Hal (with white temples) 5-Hal (Spectre look) 6-Hal (modern look w/modified suit) 7-Hal glowing neon version 8-Hal in green Armor (Knight, samurai, whatever) 9-Hal-Secret Id test pilot outfit 10-Hal-like "evil ring dude" from Evil Justice League *the baf for this ten figure series (1 and 2) could be the giant Hal OAN statue that held the central power pattery. (basically Hal holding the battery while charging his ring) (that should cover the 1st few years, then on to the others) 11-Alan 1st appear version 12-Alan Current Version 13-Guy 14-Kyle Classic version 15-Kyle Jim Lee Version 16-Kyle/Kyle-allax 17-Kyle-New Look GL outfit (hitting soon) 18-Sinestro 19-Sapphire 20-Mogo (baf)

From the WW thread:CornboyMayse wrote: Second, thanks for polls and suggestion threads like this one. It gives us a good idea of what action figure fans really want to see from this line!

I think they could easily give us one GL every two waves. I'd go with Hal first, followed by John, followed by Kyle, followed by Guy.
Edit: Mogo as a BAF would rock.

I would want Hal first-no doubt about it.since John has got heaps of mass market love lately Id next like to see Guy then Kyle then Alan.but yes indeed John has to be there too. and yes-kilowog must be a BAF-and Inspired notion.although his DCD figure will take some topping
