The Lava reflection Doomsday packs finally showed up at my local Target so I got to see one in person today. I was under the impression that the translucent green Amazo was to show him taking on GL's powers. But I noticed he has polka dots painted on his right arm. Is there a story behind these polka dots? Did I miss something in an episode?

I think the dots are just a Kirby-esque attempt to show Amazo's imitative powers in use.

I agree with the Kirby explanation. I really like the way the green Amazo looks even though it's just a recolor.

F.Y.I. I am looking for old Batman/Superman animated figures. I need Killer Croc, Manbat, Ventriliquist, Alfred, Riddler and Lois Lane.

I think he's supposed to be Chemo, and those are carbonation bubbles rising up.

fball13z wrote: cool ill have to check it out, cant go by until tuesday, hope they are still there I saw quite a few at a Target recently and passed on all 4 or so there, they all had awful paint jobs. So check Doomsday carefully when you do run into him, I'm sure you will eventually.

On occasions that Amazo uses his power, it's sometimes swirling dots. Credits- www.wf.toonzone.net

got it today! I really like the Bizzaro repaint, heck i even like the doomsday repaint, saw the rerun of the episode with superman and doomsday fighting in the volcano with doomsday looking like this new repaint, now i just need someone to paint me up a superman, with his cape and shirt riped off and all beat up and they would look great together!

Yeah, the Bizarro and Amazo repaints are definatley cool. Gives me two more reasons to get this pack besides Doomsday.

Shop your local Family Dollar or General Dollar or Big Lots for some cheap Supes repaints from earlier in the line. Superman's colors were off in that episode since he was underground anyway, and you might find something that's acceptable. I found a black outfit with blue cape Supes recently at Big Lots and he's a sharp design, even if he never was shown. I think there are some brownsuit Supermans out there as well. Anyway, just a suggestion.
