Really, really hard call. I'll go with the figure that got me to collect the line though - Justice Lords Supes. I knew that there were JL/JLU figures out there, but browsing a TRU store almost 2 years ago I saw the first Lords 3-Pack and said to myself 'ok, if they are going to go semi-obscure with this line, there must be interest and I'm certainly interested'.
So, that's my vote as far as inspiring goes. As far as my overall fav, that again is hard to say. I'll go with Vigilante or Doomsday at this point.

I think the more work that goes into a sculpt, the better the overall quality. So the figures that are either unique sculpts or heavily modified versions of base figures (Luthor in suit, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Vigilante, Grundy, Humanite etc.) I think end up being the best figures. Blue Devil is great, too.

Ultra-Humanite, hands down. The most on-model sculpt of the bunch but followed closely by Grundy, Darkseid, Aquaman and the first version of Wonder Woman. Nemesis has a fantastic head sculpt, most of the others are mearly passable, but his is outstanding as is the new Joker head.

Wow this is a really tough question because there are so many good figures, but if I have to choose it would have to be between Vigilante and Solomon Grundy. Green Arrow is right behind them though.

Vigilante hits the spot dead on.... If he had a pair of guns, he would be perfect... The least JLU figure(s) of them all are those crummy looking squirts Supergirl and Stargirl...

Ultra-Humanite is easily the BEST sculpt but my personal favorite is Supergirl. She is the most adorable action figure I've ever owned (Stargirl is cute too) and even comes with a purse to hit bad guys over the head with! I don't care that she's not in scale. Her and Stargirl are my favorites.

Top two are the original 5 POA Batman and the second version of Huntress.

Ultra-Humanite is definitley one of the best sculpts they've done for the line, so him and Doomsday, Huntress second suit, and there's something about Hawk that I like.
