Was near a Family Dollar today and decided to stop in, and I'm glad I did!

Found a fresh cardboard tray of the TNBA singles Ham Salad found at Albertson's earlier this week. Here's the breakdown of what was in it:

1x Catwoman
1x Two Face
2x Joker
2x Robin in all silver
3x Battle Scarred Batman in blue
3x Orange tech suit Batman

They were priced at $3 each. I *finally* picked up a Mattel TNBA Catwoman. Here's a pic of the catwoman single:

Now I can retire my teenaged 'Legends of Batman' Catwoman, even though thats my favorite Catwoman outfit

One more note: The arms on Ms. Kyle are VERY rubbery. Like the old Gumby flex figures sans underwire. I don't know if this was true with the initial 2 pack or subsequent re-releases of Catwoman.

This is good/bad news for those looking for these again. Good because there are more Family Dollar stores in the nation than Albertson family stores. Bad news because Two Face and Catwoman are 1x per set the stores receive, and I don't know how many sets the FD stores got in.

It would seem that Mattel is releasing one wave of these per year. 2005 had the silver wave, 2006 had the orange Batman and blue Robin, and 2007 now has the reissue wave.

It's a shame Mattel didn't turn these into show-accurate repaint, though. Oh well, there's always next yesr!

I remember when last year's assortment first showed up, the local store had at least 4 trays each of Batman figures and the JL Superman and Darkseid re-issues.

Well on a whim... I went down the toy aisle at an Albertson's during a grocery run and I found me a Catwoman (TNBA). It was cool considerig that I needed her but wasn't really in the priority list... well the online hunting list at least. But yea.. I found one. They did however have lots of the JOKER and 1 Two-Face.

It's a shame The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and Killer Croc haven't been made. I'm hoping they show up in the JLU/DCAU line.
