I read somewhere on this site around sdcc that they posted something about a Grodd 3 pack..aside from the 6 pack...sorry if this was discussed already, but I don't remember it being brought up...over at TNI it says this too on the main page link to JLU 2007: Here is a look at upcoming Justice League Unlimited exclusives coming from Mattel. Shown are the following:
- Target Exclusive Grodd Boxset (Batman, Red Hood Joker, Flash, Gorilla Grodd, Superman, Lex Luthor)
- Gorilla Grodd 3-Pack "suprise" (Grodd, Red Hood, Joker)
What the heck is the 3 pack aside from the target 6 pack we are all waiting for..???? Is another 3 pack coming out too with grodd and red hood? any help Julius? ToyGuru?? Have I stumped you all? haa! thanks guys!!

I saw that earlier today; I just think TNI has posted bad info. Unfortunately, a bunch of people are going to see it and believe it and wonder where the 3-pack is when doesn't come out.
If Grodd is so large that he must be released in a box set, how on earth will he fit in a 3-pack?

I just hope Target marks this set down to $7.48 like they did with the Bizarro/Doomsday/etc. exclusive set.
I really don't need yet another Superman, Batman or Flash, but even more, I don't want to pay $20 just to get Grodd and Red Hood.

Whether 3-pack or 6-pack (like my abs a decade ago ), I'll still snag them! That is, if I'll be able to find them, if ya know what I mean?...

I would bet its a mistake.
Gorilla Grodd 3-Pack "suprise" (Grodd, Red Hood, Joker)
I mean Red Hood and Joker are the same figure, so it wouldnt even be a 3 pack.

I liked the part about the checklist poster being released with figures. Wonder if that's true? Would love to have one of those.

You know, I wouldn't even put any stock in that statement. Unless Mattel seriously shrunk the poster down, it wouldn't fit into any product packging. And if they did, the print would be tiny!

Of course, so was Doomsday, but he went to clearance too, so I was just hoping this set would do the same eventually.

I just heard from Toy Guru. There is NOT a 3-pack with Grodd and Red Hood. I think TNI took their info from a typo that was on Newsarama's WWC coverage.

Julius, I also remember a 3-pack being mentioned at the SDCC 2007 panel. I was there, and I was confused. Especially with this image: http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/gall ... ion+19.jpgSo was this a Mattel typo? I'd personally like this 3-pack. I got too many Supes and Bats. TheNewbie

That was just a slide showing the new characters in the 6-pack. The "surprise" part was the Red Hood/Joker that had not been prevoiusly announced.
