What if for one wave, Mattel skips the C&C figure and instead includes a mini-character pack-in that relates to the figure?
Superman - Mister Mxyzptlk or Beppo
Superboy - Krypto
Supergirl - Streaky
Batman - Bat-Mite
Batgirl - Ace
Aquaman - Qwsp
Green Lantern - Ch'p
Mr. Miracle - Oberon
Blue Devil - Detective Chimp
I'd really prefer if the mini-figures were articulated, but I guess I could take 'em without it if we wouldn't get these characters any other way. What say you? Any takers?

I'd be okay with it. Even if they weren't articulated. And I like how one of your choices is Superboy. I can only hope Mattel is allowed/find a loop hole to make the Superboys of the DCU.

Some of you guys sure love to make lists.
You must be so bored. I know I am.
All you basically did was list the pack-ins that we already got from DC Direct (give or take a couple). Good work. Very creative.
We'll stick with the C & C. Besides, Mattel isn't going to stop a program that makes you buy them all. Come on, Superfly. Put your thinking-cap back on!

Not bored at all, just generating some discussion among the community. That's what a 'discussion board' is for. It's easy to ridicule an idea and contribute absolutely nothing to the topic. I'm just curious if any other fans want to see a product like this. In your reply, you never made it clear what you actually thought.
You don't like these 'lists'? you don't have to read them.

I don't usually chime in on list threads but actually, Superfly, I think you're on to something. First off, I believe toy companies budget for a wave, not just individual figures (please correct me if I'm wrong) so we can have both a build a figure (Metamorho size rather than Grundy size) and then have select figures come with a smaller pack in. One of my favorite Marvel Legends figs was the Silver Surfer. The fig itself was okay, but he came with an articulated Howard the Duck. The smaller DC figs don't need to be associated directly with the character they're packed with (however a Mr. Myx. fig would go w/ a Superman related charcter of course). I'd love to see a mini Atom figure and this is probably the only way we'd get one.

I think it's a great idea. I don't really collect DCUC, but I have looked into a couple just for the accessories. Same with DC Direct. I'd go for this idea in any of the lines. Or even as a pack in and of itself.
and I'm a Virgo, I'm all about lists!

I would like a Mister Mxyzptlk and Det. Chimp
I've been wondering though if they'd put them aside for box sets though instead of packins that replace C&C. Like how TB put HERBIE and Franklin in the FF box set, etc

I will be happy to have Ace & Mister Mxyzptlk in the right scale with my DCUC figures.
So, an another idea : if the C&C figure will NOT be a figure but a playset ? For example, the Bat-computer. Each figure can have a piece of it. No ?

I definitely think it could be a throwaway wave. As this line grows more people are going to begin collecting it and have to go backwards to get figures they missed (Superman, Aquaman, etc). Instead it could be easy if we did have one small (No pun intended) repaint wave, or maybe even two-pack of re-released sculpts with maybe newly sculpt head or corrections that have been requested by fans, along with a new sculpts of the smaller characters.
My MUST HAVES are:
Mr. Mxyzptlk - orange/purple tights (Superman)
Mr. Mxyztplk - original/STAS purple suit (Superman Golden Age)
Atom (Atom "full-size" or Hawkman)
Amazo - Copying Atom's powers (Atom)
Dr. Psycho (Wonder Woman)
Detective Chimp (Blue Devil)
Ch'p (Green Lantern)
Oa Guardian (Green Lantern)
Krypto (Superboy)
Streaky (Supergirl)
Ace (Batman)
Oberon (Mr. Miracle or Big Barda)
Skeets (Booster Gold)
Kelex (Superman clone)
Bat-Mite (Batman Silver Age)
Shrinking Violet (Shrinking Violet - full size or another Legionnaire)
Gizmo (any Teen Titan that doesn't need accessories)
Plastic Man - in the form of a ball or another small accessory (Plastic Man)
Even Toy Biz did a small vehicles assortment in ML. It'd never happen for Mattel, but I'd love me an Aquaman jetski, Batman's Batcycle, Batgirl Cycle, Black Canary's mototrcycle, Robin's "motorcross" Batcycle, and Deadshot's motorcycle. That would be awesome, too.

The Aquaman jetski.....
Y'know, I'd love one of those.
It's the most ridiculous thing ever, and it'd just be so funny to have.
"What the?... why would Aquaman be riding a..."
"I know dude, it's awesome."

Pharzoof (the little dwarf Parademon that made several appearances in Birds of Prey) - either Oracle or Black Canary.
Nuala - Death or Morpheus*
Matthew the Raven - Morpheus*
Barnabas - Delirium*
Smudge - The Shade
Beast Boy as various smaller animals - Beast Boy
*Didn't Cornboy say that Swamp Thing might be possible, since he's owned by DC, and existed in the DCU long before the Vertigo imprint? If that's the case, then you have to assume that Morpheus, Death and Delirium would be available too.
