Blu Ray editions of the original theatrical prints of Star Wars Episodes 4-6 are still a pipe dream. They originally used them as a source and cleaned them up, but they've been altered and edited ever since the home video release. Around the Blu Ray launch, Lucasfilm explained that they'd have to go back to square one and it will take a large sum of money and time to clean up and digitize these to be even close to suitable for Blu-Ray release. And then there's the tiny matter of home video distribution rights (the thing that keeps '66 Batman off DVD) and the fact that Lucas still has a say in the matter.

You know the saying: Burn me with SW Episodes 1 thru 3 shame on me. Guys don't get your hopes up for SW 7-9. There are only so many Ewoks, Jar Jars and Rancor Keepers one person can take. Also, living in Philly I walk over those Resurrecting Dead tiles you spoke of. They are all over the city. They are slightly raised and look to be made of rubber. I'll take a picture of it on the wknd.
