GI Joe 2010 Convention – Toy Sneak Peak
May 11, 2010

One of the most eagerly awaited panels of the convention was the new toy sneak peak.  Since no pictures were allowed, here are my notes from the panel.  I apologize in advance if I mixed up any of this. I do know there are items I missed.  They were showing things too fast to write them all down.  Here is what I did get.

Erik "Superfriend" Skov
"Gathered together from the four corners of the universe." Oh, wait, that's the show, not me. Erik "SuperFriend" Skov never actually got to appear on the show, although he did watch it every week. Erik spent 6 years working for Hasbro in Pawtucket, RI before leaving for a job that paid more (Why else would a collector leave the company that was making Star Wars, Transformers, and while I was there Batman). I used to post all over the net. These days I tend to hang my hat at AFI.

Low-Light? Yes! “25th Anniversary style, 2 huge backpacks, sighting scope, sniper rifle that disassembles, single bullet (smallest accessory ever.” Thank YOU, Erik, for this highly unexpected scoop! M’man Coop is finally getting MUCHO love!!!

  • Shellhead says:

    Sigh. More accessories to lose.

But seriously, looks like Hasbro will get some more of my money this fall.
