Adam West is not good for just Family Guy, anymore!

In a total surprise, Mattel has once again snuck in a teased slide to the very tail end of thier presentation, but this time AFi became the only outlet to grab a shot, for a worldwide exclusive picture that we are happy to run for you right now!

 

Last month, Variety reported that WB had finally nailed down the rights for the seminal 1966 tv show, ” “For the first time in over 40 years we will be able to offer fans a full merchandise program that captures the classic, kitschy look and feel of the original ‘Batman’ TV show,” said Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products. “This new licensing program allows our partners to take advantage of the characters, gadgets and humor that made the show a smash hit in its day and a perennial favorite decades later.”

Mattel teased the advent of a toyline with a single slide of the ’66 Batman logo, but then flashed this image on the screen for a split second while con goers were starting to get up and file out of the room. Maybe next time the fanboys won’t be so quick to rush off to the Dr. Who panel! In any case, AFi has got your back, nameless fanboy.

He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows.
