Adult Swim, the #1 destination for young adults, is taking the pop culture strength of its programming lineup to the retail shelf through an exciting deal with Kidrobot, providing fans the opportunity to collect their favorite characters from the late night network. Kidrobot will launch a 3-inch Blind Box mini figure collectable series featuring popular characters across the Adult Swim programming lineup starting in February 2008.

"Kidrobot is a master in creating very cool toys that are perfect for Adult Swim fans and toy collectors," said Christina Miller, vice president of consumer products for Cartoon Network Enterprises.

"These characters represent some of the greatest pop-art developed over the last ten years, and are a big inspiration to my own work," said Paul Budnitz, president/founder of Kidrobot.  "So of course I’m totally blown away that Kidrobot is getting to do this!"

Kidrobot will develop figurines for a portfolio of characters featured during Adult Swim’s lineup.  Starting in February 2008, 3-inch Blind Box mini figures will be available for fans willing to take a chance on what character they actually get inside.  The chances of getting a particular figure are listed as percentage rates on the side of each branded box.  All figures are wrapped in foil to prevent anyone from sneaking a peek at which character is featured, maintaining the experience and value to the line of figures. Kidrobot will feature 16-20 different figures per
series, and be made available in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Latin America.

In second quarter 2007, Adult Swim set all-new ad-supported basic cable total day delivery records for any quarter with adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24.  Adult Swim remains the #1 ad-supported basic cable network among young adult viewers, ranking #1 in delivery of its target demos, adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24, according to data from Nielsen Media Research.
