LOS ANGELES, CA, November 13, 2006 – BandMerch, Inc., a leader in entertainment merchandising, today announced a partnership with SOTA Toys to exclusively manufacture and distribute collectible dolls for each member of the multi-platinum rock band Fall Out Boy.  The dolls will be available starting in November 2006 through retail stores such as Hot Topic, Spencer Gifts and music stores nationwide.
  
  Sota ToysEach member of Fall Out Boy; bassist Pete Wentz, vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stump, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley, has a unique doll created in their likeness.  The dolls sportreplications of the outfits seen in the band’s video, “A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More ‘Touch Me’.”  The suggested retail price of the dolls is $14.99.
    “The Fall Out Boy dolls represent an exciting example of our innovative approach to licensed product categories,” said Kirsti Payne,Licensing Director at BandMerch.      BandMerch and SOTA Toys are offering a “Golden Ticket Contest” where each doll will contain a contest entry form located on the backside of the package.  Fans can fill out the entry form, send it in to the address specified on the form (specific rules for the contest can be found at http://www.sotatoys.com/fobgoldenticket.htm) and look forward
to the chance of winning tickets to a live Fall Out Boy performance, back stage passes, round trip airfare, and hotel accommodations for the show. The approximate retail value of the prize package is $1,000.
    Fans will also have a chance to collect three different premiums when purchasing the Fall Out Boy dolls. Each doll sold in Hot Topic will include a Fall Out Boy trading card, while dolls purchased at Spencer Gifts will include an exclusive sticker.  Transworld will be selling a special collection of all four Fall Out Boy dolls together and will feature a mini poster of the band.  As an added bonus, a percentage of the named premiums will be signed by each member of the band.
