With the new “Action Figure Collector” application, sharing your collection, looking up detailed information, and taking pictures of your action figure collection has never been easier.
By sync’ing their iPhone with their Collector-ActionFigures account, collectors will be able to load all of their figures, including great high-res photos, into their iPhones. Now, collectors can have their entire collection and wanted list with them all the time.
All figure information is available instantly, including series, year, manufacturer, UPC, manufacturer number, and height. Additionally, collectors can zoom in and pan high-resolution photos to see details of the front at back of packaged and loose figures.
A real time-saving innovation in Action Figure Collector is the way it radically simplifies and speeds up the dreaded process of taking pictures of figures. Collectors simply find the figure they want to photograph on their iPhone. Click the camera icon in the Action Figure Collector app and take a picture of their action figure. This picture is automatically uploaded wirelessly to the collector’s account, updating their Collection and the Marketplace. Instead of hassling with digital cameras, sync cables, renaming files and uploading files, Action Figure Collector makes the process seamless and take literally seconds.
A powerful search feature is also available in Action Figure Collector. For example, from the iPhone, a collector can search for “Darth Maul.” Within a few seconds, all 49 “Darth Maul” action figures in the vast 35,000 figure DASH Universe are listed. Colored icons indicate which items are in the collector’s Collection, Wanted List, or for sale in the DASH Marketplace. By drilling down on any figure, collectors can see the full detailed information for each figure as well as view the full screen, high-resolution front and back photos of each figure.
