The G.I. Joe Team at Hasbro has once again come through for AFI readers answering your latest and greatest post-Comic Con G.I. Joe questions.  These questions were submitted by AFI readers via our Forums.

Q1. We’ve seen Monkeywrench in the Wal-Mart-exclusive two-pack as part of The Rise Of Cobra line. Any hope for more previously unreleased Dreadnoks in The Pursuit Of Cobra line in 2010? Thrasher? Road Pig? Zanzibar? Maybe Zartan’s siblings or daughter?

A1. The Dreadnoks are favorites of the Design team and on our radar for the future.  We are holding off on releasing them right now in hopes that we can do something bigger with them down the line.

Q2. Will the toy line ever go back to the 80′s style packaging?  Also are the Resolute figures show on E-bay once in awhile be available some day. Like Resolute Destro, Baroness, Roadblock?

A2. The 80′s package may be used again in the future for a classic line, but will not be part of the main line in the near future.  As for the Resolute figures, there is a strong possibility you will see some of these figures released in 2010 in a multipack, not single carded.

Q3. Does Hasbro themselves have a listing to which the current characters are analogous to in the original forms- even if you no longer have rights to the names – (ie Shockblast is Shockwave)– I know many fan sites are attempting to do this– does Hasbro have any off the record official stance?

A3. Hasbro Designers handle this on a case by case basis, there is not official list that Hasbro can publish due to Trademark issues.

If you have a  question you would like to ask the GI Joe team, you can submit them via this thread.

And as an added bonus Hasbro has sent us some brand new GI JOE figure images!
