The MARVEL Team at Hasbro has once again come through for AFI readers answering your latest Hasbro/Marvel questions. These questions were submitted by AFI readers via our forums.
Q1. Would Hasbro ever consider releasing a new Marvel Legends figure on HasbroToyShop.com bi-monthly or every few months or so? From what I’ve heard, apparently AOA Sunfire did not sell extremely well, Probably because while many people wanted a Marvel Legends Sunfire, about half the fanbase wanted the AOA version and the other half wanted a classic Sunfire. So I don’t believe AOA Sunfire was an accurate gauge as to how well highly demanded Marvel Legends Figures could sell at HTS. While the upcoming 2010 wave of Legends Two-Packs just announced is nice, One wave of ML Two-Packs a year just isn’t enough for many of us. Most Legends collectors would love to get some new Legends through HTS.
A1. We value the commitment of the Legends collector, and are constantly evaluating ways to include these items in our line, both on HTS.com and through other distribution.
Q2. When can we expect to see the new wave of movie Iron Man figures (including the Punisher Iron Man) that are shown on the back of the Evolution of Iron Man 3-packs I’ve been seeing in ToysRUs for the past three months?
A2. Stay tuned for more information on this…
Q3. I never saw a Marvel Universe Bullseye at retail. Will he and other difficult to find MU figures eventually be re-released?
A3. Bullseye was a hot figure and sold through quickly. If the demand for this character is there, we will consider re-releasing him, or introducing another version.
