When the world starts to fall apart, Procrustus™ is happy to lend a hand… after all, he’s got four of them! This multi-armed giant keeps it all together from the core of the earth, preventing the planet from separating while protecting the Star Seed. Fan-demanded Procrustus™ appears as he does in the mini-comic “The Magic Stealer,” and is front and center on the subscription-exclusive 2013 map of Sub-ternia™! Fully articulated, he arrives with a magic Star Seed orb that fits in his hand.
Procrustus is the newest over-sized figure in the MOTUC and while at first glance he looks like a clever re-use of the over-sized body that was used for Tytus and Megator, he actually only reuses the legs from Megator. The stone pattern caries though the head, all four arms, his chest and his loin-cloth. Procrustus first came to light as a character in one of the classic mini-comics and made his debut as a reveal at Comic Con back in July. While he might not be perfectly the correct scale for an eternal guardian he works well with the standard 6″ figures and looks great filling out your MOTUC shelf. He feels even more heavy and solid than the previous over-sized figures because of his head and extra arms.
The 4 arms are cast from the same left and right mold but use different hands. He comes with the star-seed orb.
Procrustus will be available on 12/17 on MattyCollector.com.
Procrustus™ BioReal Name: Procrustus™After the Gods created the Five dimensions, they hid their secret magic in the form of a star inside the core of a small planet in the center of the dimension of Eternia®. Naming the planet after the dimension it resided in, they assigned the immortal four-armed giant Procrustus™ to remain there and guard their magical secrets. Over the millennia, the magic began to seep out, and many wise magicians learned to tap into these powers for both good and evil. In time, the ruthless warlock Hordak® attempted to break apart Eternia® using a spell of separation in order to access the magic’s source. Although his spell was thwarted, Procrustus™ was now forced to literally hold the planet together remaining forever at the planet’s core!
