MEGA Bloks’s Halo fans are called to submit their own stopmotion videos

MONTREAL – August 25^th, 2011– MEGA Brands Inc. (TSX: MB) – Markingthe 10^th Anniversary of the hugely successful Halo franchise, Mega Bloks is launching acommunity-driven competition in which Halo fans can create and submit their ownHalo Mega Bloks toymations (stop motion animations featuring toys) for a chanceto win incredible prizes — including having their film featured on Microsoft’sofficial Halo web channel, Waypoint!

Starting on August 5^th, fans are invited tosubmit their videos on the Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Contest website (http://halotoymation.megabloks.com/)On September 25^th,submissions close, at which point users will be able to rate their favoritevideos. The top 10 videos will be published on October 17^th andfinally, MEGA’s panel of expert judges will reveal their Grand Prize Winner onOctober 24th.

The lucky winner and runners-up get the chance to winprizes that include video production hardware and software and tons of MEGABLOKS Collectors items!
