New York- This oversized Krampus is 12″ tall from the tips of his “devilish” horns to the points of his cloven hooves. This sinfully adorable mythic creature is a hugably plump plush that is perfect for those who enjoy the darker side of the holiday spirit.
Mezco’s Krampus plush doll has all the trademark characteristic of the fabled creature with horned head, pointed tongue that sticks out, hoofed feet, and tail.
According to tradition, this beast is responsible for “handling” all the naughty children during the holiday season, gathering them and taking him back to his lair. Krampus, an Austrian legendary creature was outlawed in 1934 but the ban was lifted and has become a holiday phenomenon gaining worldwide popularity for his devilish representation of the holiday spirit.
“Krampus has really been busy recently” said Mezco’s resident Krampus enthusiast, Mike Drake, “He’s appeared on Scooby Doo, The Venture Brothers, The Colbert Report, the popular Grimm Fairy Tales comic, and in a cool series of bumpers for G4. NPR recently reported several Pennsylvania towns are even organizing holiday Krampus parades. It’s a good time for Krumpus…but a bad time to be naughty.”
Mezco’s plush Mega Scale Krampus arrives in stores in October, but is available for pre-order now at finer online retailers.

Fans of the Walking Dead TV show may not know how the prison storyline will end, but fans of the comic know that it will probably not end well! The fourth assortment of Walking Dead Minimates, based on the long-running comic book series by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, features one of the most hated villains in comic book history, the Governor, as well as some of his closest friends and worst enemies.
Walking Dead Minimates Series 4 re-unites the Governor and his lieutenants with some of the people who hated him the most. The Governor himself comes in a two-pack with his lieutenant Gabe, with whom he stormed the gates of the prison. Michonne, the woman who received the worst of the Governor’s brutality, comes with his accomplice Bruce, as well as a new poncho accessory. Rick’s wife Lori (with baby Judith) comes with a partially flayed Shoulder Zombie, and a variant of that set will replace Lori with the prison doctor and Woodbury defector, Alice.
Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall and includes a variety of interchangeable parts and accessories. All of these figures will be available at comic shops and specialty stores this summer. To find your nearest comic shop, visit comicshoplocator.com!
Diamond Select Toys certainly does get around. New York Toy Fair brought them to the East Coast in February, and San Diego Comic-Con will have them headed to the West Coast in July, but in between they get to spend a fun-filled week in one of their favorite cities, Chicago! The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) will take place from April 26 to 28 this year, and DST will be exhibiting, paneling, freebie-ing… you name it!
At booth #603, DST will have all (well, most) of their upcoming products on display, so you can check them out in person before they reach the stores. They’ll also be giving away free posters, and selling selected items in the company store. Spend $18 and you can build your own Minimate at the Build-a-Minimate station! (Station open after 1:00 each day.)
Not too far away, at booth #1509, you can check out the Minimates Museum, an exhibit of Minimates past and present celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Minimates line. The exhibit will be open during show hours, so stop by, pick up a program and take a trip through mini-history, from Lord of the Rings to The Expendables, and everything in between!
And on Saturday, at 12:15 pm, in Room W470a, DST Marketing Supervisor Zach Oat will talk Minimates with anyone who will listen. He’ll unveil never-before-seen artwork, debut some never-before-seen product and answer some never-before-asked questions! Plus, he’ll give away a prize at the end to one lucky attendee!

This guardian of greed won’t lend you a hand… in fact, he’ll take yours right off if you have something he wants! (Orange you glad you’re not his enemy?) Larfleeze calls on an army of construct allies to defeat anyone honing in on what’s his. Although this fully articulated figure arrives with his power battery with handle, there’s no need for one because he grips it tightly in his greedy little hands!
The April DC subscription figures brings up the leader… and primary member of the Orange Lantern Corps – Larfleeze. Previously we only had the orange lantern corps version of Lex Luthor.
There has been some speculation among collectors that Larfleeze was actually a figure planned for one of retail waves of DCUC, and once that line left retail he was re-purposed for the sub. At one point he was scheduled to be in the “DC All Stars” retail line, before it was also cancelled.
Larfleeze comes with his orange lantern battery, which, unlike the orange Luthor battery, has a handle on it.
Larfleeze uses the newer lanky buck body with a new head, shoulders, fore arms and hands. He has the double elbow articulation, but not the double knees. He is however, missing the bicep swivel, most likely because of the sculpt of the new shoulders.
Cold-blooded and even more cold-hearted, this sinister serpent turns his enemies to stone, then slithers away without a second thought! Snake Face™ may be able to disguise his true nature for a short time, but eventually he will reveal his hideous face, so this fan-demanded figure arrives with interchangeable “snakes in and snakes out” look. Also comes with pop-out chest plates, removable chest snakes that can plug into his armor, serpent staff and serpent shield.
This April sees an expansion in the ranks of our Snake Men. Snake Face brings his own special brand of terror to your collection as a member of King Hssss’ inner circle.
As you know by now the Masters Classics line does not include the action feature of their vintage counterparts. So Mattel, the designers and the Four Horsemen have to come up with clever ways to replicate those features. Snake Face replicates the pop out snake feature by having 2 heads, one with snakes and one without, as well as a couple of pop-off panels you can add additional snakes to for the torso.
There are some great additional details suck as the head with the snake retracted have long tails hanging out the back of the helmet. Snake Face also has snakes wrapped around each arm, but the Horsemen sculpted it in a way that it retains the arm articulation.
