DST posted some amazing news to their site this week: 

Fans of the Star Trek Retro Cloth Figure line and devoted worshippers of all things yesteryear, pay attention!  Re-released for the first time since the 70′s, DST and Emcee Toys will be bringing the Retro Star Trek Bridge Playset to stores early next year!

McFarlane Toys’ Halo 3 is quickly becoming one of the most successful licensed lines ever produced by McFarlane Toys. Ever since the March release of our first series of Halo 3 action figures, it seems that everything’s coming up Halo – and people just can’t get enough. Vendors coast to coast have been reporting quick sell-through; the figures are disappearing almost as soon as they reach store shelves.

MEZCO releases the second in their series of stylized horror icons; Leatherface from the infamous Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Standing nine inches tall, the maniac comes complete with chainsaw, bucket of glistening gore, bloody mallet, “bone” handle knife, and removable apron. Leatherface features 13 points of articulation and real cloth clothing.

We debuted this new (fake) commercial at Comic Con during one of our panels and it was a huge hit.   It was really fun to watch it in a room full of fans.  Usually you just put these sort of things out there on the Internet, and apart from a comment or two you don’t hear much feed back, so it was great to show it in a room full of action figure enthusiasts.  

The OTHER cool thing was that Mattel used our original (fake) DCUC as part of the video loop playing in their booth at comic con. 

Much like the original DCUC commercial we debuted back on April Fools Day this one was shot at the same time with the same cast, and it follows the same sort of format as the Kenner commercials of old, except instead of little kids in their back yards.. oh, heck.  You’ll see.   Enjoy!
