As excited as the Four Horsemen are with the release of their latest Seventh Kingdom inspired FANtastic Exclusive  action figure, "The Chalice of Guudenuph", they regretfully have to announce that the most recently planned release date of "the Chalice" will have to be postponed by a little more than a week.

The powerhouse of a pink pachyderm "The Chalice of Guudenuph" was most recently scheduled to go up for sale on the Horsemens¹ online store, Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com) this Tuesday night. The new release date will be next Friday night/Saturday morning (June 21st) at 12:00am EST.

As announced previously, The Chalice will sell for $25.00 each (plus shipping) and will be limited to less than 300 pieces! Ramathorr and a very limited amount of the Anitherian Nine sets will also be put back up for order at the same time as The Chalice of Guudenuph for $25.00 each (plus shipping), and $225.00 each set (plus shipping) respectively.

The Four Horsemens¹ Cornboy had this to say, "First of all, we want to apologize to everyone who¹s been looking forward to the release of these figures. With all of the delays we¹ve had so far with these things, this latest postponement is somewhat embarrassing for us to say the least As collectors ourselves, we know what a pain it is to wait for something that you¹re really into."

As for the reason for the latest schedule change? Cornboy said this, "The reason for the latest shift in scheduling is pretty simple. We¹re moving into a new, larger studio, which is going to require a lot of new construction. We¹ve packed all of the FANtastic Exclusive product away into our new storage area for protection until the bulk of the construction is finished, but the construction¹s taking a bit longer than we¹d hoped."

He added, "The need for the move came about quite quickly and unexpectedly. We would have loved to have had more time to plan it out, but things didn¹t go that way. Once this big move¹s out of the way, things should run a lot more smoothly around here, including all of our outstanding shipments. We¹ll send out a reminder press release just before the figures go on sale."

So please be patient. Pachyderms will soon be parading through your living room. They¹re just not very good at telling time.

MOTÖRHEAD frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister recently spoke to the Artisan News Service about the Lemmy Icon Figure, which is about to begin shipping from Locoape, creators of iconic figures and collectibles via www.lemmyfigure.com. In addition to a standard edition an edition of 2,500 pieces is one exclusive that includes an individually numbered MOTÖRHEAD "Ace of Spades" playing card as well as an authentic D’Andrea Lemmy guitar pick. Also available is an autographed edition limited to only 50 pieces worldwide.

"I had to stand on this platform while the camera went around and did the hologram thing and then they made the model, only smaller," Lemmy said. "They said it’s an action figure, and I said, ‘So, you’re gonna put a *&$% on it?’ They said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘Well, then it’s not going to get much action then, is it?’ A bad name for it, right?"

Watch video footage of Lemmy talking about the action figure at this location.

Locoape, the newly formed Chicago-based manufacturer, produces an array of both licensed and proprietary branded products with an emphasis on toys, collectibles, trends and popular culture.

"We’re very excited to be able to introduce the Locoape brand to the public with an iconic license such as MOTÖRHEAD. Lemmy is an artist that defines modern hard rock and metal music," said Locoape CCO Michael Romano.

According to Locoape President Steve Loney, "When we first began to develop the Icon series brand we wanted to first solidify just who the Icons are. Much was debated, but Lemmy was instantly at the top of that list. With so many Iconic artists in development and the roster we’ve secured we’re already planning in to 2010! People are really going to be surprised just who and what we’re developing."

Romano added, "Beginning with Lemmy, we’ve strived to create the Icon series as an ongoing brand of true show piece collectibles. Collectibles that include the artist’s input and offers the fans and collector an item with the quality and integrity that they deserve."

Spencer Gifts, Hot Topic, Virgin Mega Stores, Hastings, FYE, HMV, Diamond, independent record and specialty collectible toy stores and distributors worldwide are all places you may be able to find your own Lemmy figure. Locoape has assembled the finest distributors throughout Europe such as Gear for Games, Cosmic, PBM Express, SD, HEO.com, Cards Inc., Legends & Album stores in France, Blister Direct in Japan, Figure Mania and Croftminster in Australia, Grossnor in Canada are just a few of the wholesale channels that will be carrying the Lemmy figure.

Even though the Four Horsemen are back in their studio attempting to recover from an exciting weekend at Wizard World Philadelphia, they can’t sit around and admire their first annual “Toyfare Hall of Fame” award for too long.

There are still some straggling elephants to be shipped out, there’s work to be wrapped up on the latest wave of Mattels’ DC Universe Classics line, and to top everything off the Horsemen are smack-dab in the middle of moving into a new studio! Needless to say, these fellas are busy right now.

This being the case, even though they’d planned to release the powerfully pink pachyderm “The Chalice of Guudenuph” through their online store – Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com) on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, they’ve decided to back the release date up to next Tuesday night / Wednesday morning at 12:00am EST.

Not only will this give the Horsemen a chance to send out the last of the outstanding signed and international orders for Ramathorrs and settle into their new digs, but it will also give action figure fans who are interested in purchasing “The Chalice” a little more time to plan ahead.

“The Chalice of Guudenuph” will sell for $25.00 each, plus shipping (to be determined), and will be extremely limited to less than 300 peices! If you remember what happened to last years’ black and white spotted bovine warrior – the Mynothecean Royal Guardsman, then you know you’ll want to get on board for “The Chalice of Guudenuph” as early as possible!

But the Chalice isn’t invading Store Horsemen alone. Between the time the original pre-orders for the Anitherian Nine sets* and Ramathorr himself were placed – to the time they were finally released there were quite a few order cancellations. A lot of action figure fans were disappointed when they couldn’t get their own Anitherian Nine sets, so now here’s their second chance!

Ramathorr and a very limited amount of the Anitherian Nine sets will be put back up for order at the same time as the Chalice of Guudenuph (give or take a few minutes – Cornboy’s not that good with the computer…)!!

As before, Ramathorr will be $25.00 each, plus shipping (to be determined), and the Anitherian Nine sets will be $225.00 each set, plus shipping (to be determined).

Last, but absolutely not least – in the very near future keep checking back at FANtastic Exclusive.com (http://www.FANtasticExclusive .com) and Store Horsemen.com (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com) for some very special, extremely limited, previously unannounced items up for grabs!

*“The Chalice of Guudenuph” is NOT included in the Anitherian Nine sets.

NY- Mezco Toyz, premier toy and collectible manufacturer, is lending a helping hand to those who are less fortunate; bulldogs. In February 2008, Mezco Toyz, the makers of the new Heroes action figures, sent a set of unpainted prototype test shot figures to the legendary 30 Rock (30 Rockefeller center) in NY to be displayed at NBC’s headquarters as part of the NBC tour.

Literally thousands of tourists have posed beside the figures for pictures and many of the cast of Heroes themselves saw and played with the figures during a recent visit to the site. These are the actual figures from the display and the actual figures featured in the recent article in Heroes Magazine.

The original plan was to auction the figures for charity in April, but because of the overwhelming popularity of the display, the figures remained at NBC until the end of May 2008. Now, Mezco Toyz has donated the set of 5 figures to Heaven Sent Bulldog Rescue so they can be auction to raise funds for abused and/or homeless Bulldogs. 100% of the money raised will be donated to the charity and the transaction will be handled by Mission Fish.

When asked what prompted their decision to help bulldogs, Mezco’s Director Of Special Projects replied, “Mezco has a long love affair with bulldogs. A full 37% of Mezco’s New York staff own bulldogs and Mez himself, the President of Mezco, has shared his life with several bulldogs. When Mezco learned about the cruelty many of these poor creatures have suffered, and the wondrous things Heaven Sent Bulldog Rescue has done to help them, it was clear that they deserved to benefit from this auction”.

The auction begins on June 4th, 2008 and runs for 10 days.
