I had the opportunity to stop by the Mattel Design Center earlier this week and was able to get a sneak peek at a packaged sample of the upcoming Justice League Unlimited 7-pack that will be coming in November on MattyCollector.com.

The box is really cool.  While it is the same shape as the standard JLU 6-pack the "skin" has been redesigned and features all 58 card caring members of the Justice League from JLU show in what’s almost an Alex Ross tribute.  And there might be one "special appearance" snuck in there.

There are two deco changes to note in the finished set from what we saw in the booth at Comic Con in July.

1. Johny Thunder’s suit is now a brighter, more vivid green that is more show accurate than the olive green in the pictures above.

2. The Thunderbolt now has a light pink over-spray on his torso so he’s not as fully translucent as his prototype was.  Again this was done in an attempt to be more show accurate.

Mattel will be sending out samples in the next few weeks so we will be able to bring you a closer look at it soon.

This ALL NEW set will be released on MattyCollector.com in November and features SEVEN all new figures with NO repacks! And this set completes all of the card-carrying members of the JLU.

It’s a great looking set and I can’t wait to add it into my collection.   Start spreading the word about this pack so we can get all of those tail-ender JLUs that have been announced not scheduled!
