April 17-19, Cast-a-Way Toys will launch their newest line of Retro-style action-figures. Cast-a-Way will be debuting Lee Falk’s iconic PHANTOM as a new 8-inch scaled action figure, bringing the King Features, and arguably the first modern Super-hero, legend to life! The Ghost Who Walks and his arch-nemesis the evil Arab Prince Achmed are produced for the first time in this in an all-new format. 

Phantom Throne Limited to 100 pieces

 

These new figures, featuring 18 points of articulation, are 8 inch versions of the classic characters featuring: remarkable head sculpts removable costumes, and the authentic accessories that make these characters classic. In honor of the 20th anniversary of the FX show, Cast-a-Way Toys is producing a limited edition “Gray Ghost” variant limited to 500 pieces. These limited edition versions, available exclusively at the FX International Toy Show and to Cast-a-Way Club Members, will feature additional gray toned heads and costumes in keeping with Lee Falk’s original concept for the Ghost Who Walks. In Addition to the “Gray Ghost” Phantom, an exclusive Skull Cave Throne set featuring: the Phantom’s Throne, Skull based braziers and cave floor base will be available for FX International Toy Show attendees. Only 100 of these exquisitely sculpted sets will be produced.

 

 

From the jungles of Bengalia to the concrete jungles of New York Captain Action and Dr. Eville will also get the exclusive treatment for the FX show! Lurking for show attendees this exclusive “Stealth” version will feature the good Captain decked out in all black with a trench coat and special composite ray gun. But beware, because Dr. Eville will be disguised as Dr. Ling, sporting his lab coat and using his hypnotic eye on wary show goers. These limited edition figures will be available exclusively at the FX International Toy Show and to Cast-a-Way Club Members as well.
