Hey dude, I need to figure out how to follow your blog stuff more, just found this. I didn’t realize you were a fan of The Shield too. What the heck are we gonna do? No Galactica, No Shield…soon no LOST. Other than 24 (barely) or the habit shows you mentioned what else is there for really thought-provoking, gut-wrenching well-written drama?

I’m almost ashamed to say that I’ve never watched the new BSG. I know that puts my geek cred at risk. Honestly, I don’t know why I never watched it.

Hopefully soon, as finances allow, I’ll start in on the DVDs.

I was a huge fan of the original series back in the day complete with capes & monkeys in robot dog suits. I even watched every episode of Galactica 1980, even though I hated nearly every minute of it!

Yes. Esai Morales is Joseph Adama. And the series is about the creation of the Cylons. Interesting about the “Daniel” thing. I hadn’t put that together. I guess we’ll see.

I really enjoyed it, cant say I enjoyed the last 30 minutes, but it was a helluva way to wrap it all up. Hands down, a great series and it will be a high bar for others to reach.

On a side note CAPRICA……eric stoltz plays a DANIEL, could he be the one? Is the other hispanic guy Joseph Adama? Is this where all the questions about sentience, souls and right to life or right to create life come in? Certainly does look that way, What do you hear?

I didn’t start watching until the 3rd season, although I watched the pilot and tried to get into it twice before (thanks to Mr. Marx!). But finally got into it enough that I watched the first two seasons in a week or so.

All I know, I better damn well find out what happened to Boxey, who hasn’t been mentioned since the pilot. And they HAD BETTER have a monkey in a robot dog suit on the finale, Dammit!

On another note, I take my dogs down to Grace Park every Friday, myself.

I’m on edge waiting for the finale. I’m SO scared for my favorite characters. I just watched the “Frakkin Special” and I got all choked up thinking about the ending. It probably sounds silly to others but that’s how I get when my favorite things come to an end.
