ZodAFISuperFuneral4.jpgI’ve seen a lot of collections in my time, but no one puts together more interesting dioramas than my buddy Cuban Zod. He just finds the coolest stuff and puts them together in such an interesting fashion. I have a few photos of parts of his collection that I thought would be fun to share with you.
Here is his diorama of Superman’s funeral. It’s made up of Super Powers figures, Superman and Batman animated figures, his own customs, some Chap Mei policemen, and some scale props. The building/set they are on is a scale model used in the filming of the movie "Reign of Fire" that he bought in a warehouse sale.
Here is Cuban Zod’s Funeral For A Friend diorama:

THAT is amazing. Did he customize all the figures? I’d love to know what he used for the building/columns. This is a very nice set-up…. I hope he has it in a nice display area and keeps it this way. I am eager to see what he could do with all the characters that the JLU has available now.
Thanks for sharing.
I just re-read your description, lol…. nevermind my question on the columns…. my reading skills are in desperate need of work, I guess…. either that or I was just so amazed by the pictures that my mind went to mush….. yeah, let’s go with that.
I would LOVE to see someone put together dioramas of different JLU episodes, assuming we get all the show characters one day. This is just awesome though. Must have taken a long time to put together.
Ha! That’s awesome! Thanks for posting, Dan!
Peace,
Chip
Fantastic. Way to go, C-Zod. Great idea and execution.
Mmmmmmmmmmm …. Super Powers makes eeeeeeverything right.
Did you know Super Powers can cure a rainy day? Its true.
Fun stuff. Huzzah & kudos to Cuban Zod.
Super Powers can cure the common cold. And that diorama is too cool for school. Excellent customs, great use of the JSA, and a top-notch re-creation of an iconic moment in comics history.
