As I continute to visit my local Target store waiting on the arrival of the new JLU 3-packs, this morning I walk in to find the new price increase (which I knew about), AND NOW someone has returned their old stock of figures on the Purple Cards. *sigh*

So where these figues a target warehouse find that got shipped to target or did someone actually return there old purple three packs??
There were only 2 purple carded 3-packs so that makes me think it was a return instead of an old case being un-earthed.
Wow! That’s awesome. And by ‘awesome’, I mean terrible.
Although, which packs did they have?
There was the Huntress one pictured and the other had Aquaman in it.
Man, these JLU 3-packs keep getting older and older but the prices are increasing!
The sad thing is, that purple pack is so much fresher than what’s on the shelves today I bet it sells quicker.
WTH. At least it’s something different!
Still nothing but fire and ice/capt atom at my local target. sigh.
I have heard a report of 6-packs recently being restocked with gray Doomsday packs. BTW which 3-packs are you waiting on Batman Beyond/Cheetah or Waller/Blackhawk?
What you actually saw was the as-yet-unknown-from-the-future Chronos set, but he came back in time and swapped himself out with an even older set.
I was the one who reported the Doomsday six packs. Full case of them. And not a return according to the toy dept manager I asked about it. I have a bad feeling though that this stuff will become more common. As people leave the line, they’ll dump their product. And one of the best ways to do that is take the packs they bought on clearance back at the new increased price. Like you said – two steps back. *sigh*
As someone who cuts up, rebuilds, and paints figures…. I love when I stumble upon returns. Grabbing old fodder can be handy.
As for the collector…. yeah, it’s frustrating.
Too bad they couldn’t have returned some Barda/Deadshot packs…
I wonder what they bought that they felt was better than those 2 packs.
I found some new JLU 3-packs at one of my local Targets this past weekend… 2 of the Batman Beyond/Old Bruce Wayne/Warhawk, and one Cheetah/Shade/Prison Outfit Luthor. Unfortunately I was flat broke and left empty-handed. Oh well, story of my life!
