This weekend marked the last episode of David Tennant as Dr. Who. I’m sad to see him go because I REALLY enjoyed his run as the Doctor… but I’m hopeful for the new seasons as I REALLY love everything that new show runner Stephen Moffett has ever written for the show.
As a farewell tribute here is a video that Abby cut together tonight as a send off to Mr. Tennant.
I liked it. It reminded me of Peter Davison’s regeneration, except that David Tennant was given a longer send-off as a farewell nod to the fans. Both Doctors willingly sacrificed themselves for someone else. Both were given highly emotional endings. And just like Davison’s transformation into Colin Baker, Matt Smith appears to be mentally unbalanced right from that first scene. Going by the previews it seems like he’s going to be more of an action-oriented Doctor than most of his predecessors.
Love him or not, David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor certainly left his mark on the series. He’ll be a tough act to follow.
Julius Marx was know the world over for 10 years as the title character in the long running TV cop-on-the-edge show “Hockuly!” Now he writes about and takes pictures of toys and attempts to put all his weird knowledge to work for him. He has been collecting toys his entire life.
That was so messed up…and utterly hilarious.
Wow that didn’t take long to start getting parodies.
nice work….I shall miss him so.
