clubFilmation_logoAbout Club Filmation

In celebration of the classic He-Man® and She-Ra® series, Club Filmation will deliver six all-new MOTUC figures from those fan-favorite series! In 6” scale “Classics” style, they’re designed to blend seamlessly with your existing collection. A variety of heroes and villains will be included, both main and supporting characters. The first figures revealed are:

Batros™ (July): Servant to Skeletor®, this winged wonder will include his armor and mace
Icer™ (August): Skeletor’s cold-weather underling comes with an ice pick (of course) and staff.
Shokoti™ (September). As lovely as she is lethal, our wicked witch will be accompanied by a mini-monster sidekick.

You can place an order for the sub here.
More sub info after the jump.

Benefits of Club Filmation

This series is a must-have for every Masters of the Universe® collector and you won’t want to miss a single figure! Production quotas for this line will be extremely limited and figures may or may not be made available during the regular monthly sales at Along with the peace of mind you’ll have knowing you’re guaranteed to get every figure and avoid sellouts (that is, if they’re even offered during our monthly sales!), purchasing a subscription to Club Filmation brings you these rewards:

Combined Shipping: Club Filmation figures will ship each month approximately July through December. Starting with the second series release (approximately August), your Club Filmation order will ship with any other subscription orders you currently have.

Early Shipping: Subscription orders generally begin shipping two business days before non-subscription orders so subscribers get their orders before non-subscribers. And again, because this series will be limited in production, every figure may not even be offered to non-subscribers.

Early Access to Non-Subscription Products: In 2013, all Club subscribers get Early Access to select non-subscription products, regardless of brand! That means you’ll have the chance to purchase hot items not available through subscriptions before non-subscribers, like the upcoming Ghostbusters™ Ecto Goggles prop replica, and (here’s the biggie!) fast-selling products from San Diego Comic-Con when they become available at If these products sell out to subscribers during the Early Access period, that’s it – no additional product will be made available to non-subscribers at that time!

Daniel Pickett
Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has been surrounded by collectables ever since. In 1999 he was confounded by a lack of information and news about some of his favorite toy lines he was collecting. Since he couldn’t find the information he decided to pursue it himself thinking other people might also be interested in the same news. He started writing a weekly column on the toy industry and action figure for a toy news site and in a years time he tripled the sites daily traffic with his updates, reviews and product features. He built relationships with every major toy manufacturer and many sculptors, painters and mold makers. He grew his hobby into a world wide expertise that the industry has embraced. In 2004 he teamed up with his toy buddy Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and they created their own website Daniel has been quoted in both industry and mass media press outlets. Over the years Daniel and AFi have been sought out as experts in the field. Daniel was regularly featured on “Attack of the Show” on the G4 network as the primary contributor to their “Mint On Card” segment, and our front page has been linked to from USA Today’s “Pop Candy” Blog twice. Daniel’s content has also been featured on,, The Wall Street Journal, The Saturday Evening Post,,,, Boing-Boing,, Ain’t It Cool News, the Official Star Wars blog, Geekologie, G4, CNet and Toy Fare magazine, among many others. He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows. But all of that really just sounds snooty and “tootin’ his own horn” – the long and short of it is that Daniel loves toys and he LOVES talking about them.
