Mattel’s MOTUC Geldor
November 14, 2013

Geldor, Keldor, Gwildor…. Eternian mother’s didn’t have much creativity.

Evil Barbarian Obsessed with Immortality™
Masters of the Universe® Classics
Club Eternia® Figure, November 2013

MOTUSecretLiquidOfLifeEternal Life? He’ll drink to that! We pity the fool who gets in the way of this wicked warrior and his unquenchable thirst to live forever. Voted the 2013 fan’s choice by subscribers, this figure arrives straight from the vintage mini comic “Secret Liquid of Life!” Geldor™. Along with a sheet of team stickers to customize figure packages (Evil Horde, Galactic Protectors, He-Ro®, Grayskull™, Snake Men®, Space Mutants) he arrives with his battle axe, a glass of magic “liquid,” and a very impressive mohawk.

As mentioned above Geldor was the winner of the very first MOTUC Fan’s Choice poll, and if you recall that was a hard won battle that divided a lot of the fans at that time.   But this evil barbarian sprang forth from the pages of the vintage mini-comics and won himself a place in the MOTUC line. Geldor only made a single appearance in the mini-comics and never had a vintage figure made of him.

He’s a simple, evil barbarian.  he just needs his boots, his gloves, his shorts and his breast plate… oh, and his mohawk and GIANT AXE!

And…he’ll.. drink… your…milkshake!  (that is if your milkshake is the “Secret Liquid of Life”)

Geldor uses the standard buck body so he has the same articulation as most of the other male figures.  He has new boots, a new belt, new breast plate armor and a new head.   His accessories are the same axe that he sports in the mini-comic and a tall glass of eternal life juice.

Geldor also comes with a code on the back of the mailer box so fans can download a free Masters of the Universe DC Comic.

If you are a 2013 Club Eternia you will also receive a free MOTUC faction sticker sheet.   These will only ship with the sub orders.  They will not ship out to “day of” sales of Geldor.

You can order Geldor (without the sub exclusive sticker sheet) on November 15th on

Daniel Pickett
Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has been surrounded by collectables ever since. In 1999 he was confounded by a lack of information and news about some of his favorite toy lines he was collecting. Since he couldn’t find the information he decided to pursue it himself thinking other people might also be interested in the same news. He started writing a weekly column on the toy industry and action figure for a toy news site and in a years time he tripled the sites daily traffic with his updates, reviews and product features. He built relationships with every major toy manufacturer and many sculptors, painters and mold makers. He grew his hobby into a world wide expertise that the industry has embraced. In 2004 he teamed up with his toy buddy Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and they created their own website Daniel has been quoted in both industry and mass media press outlets. Over the years Daniel and AFi have been sought out as experts in the field. Daniel was regularly featured on “Attack of the Show” on the G4 network as the primary contributor to their “Mint On Card” segment, and our front page has been linked to from USA Today’s “Pop Candy” Blog twice. Daniel’s content has also been featured on,,, Boing-Boing,, Ain’t It Cool News, the Official Star Wars blog, Geekologie, G4, CNet and Toy Fare magazine, among many others. He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows. But all of that really just sounds snooty and “tootin’ his own horn” – the long and short of it is that Daniel loves toys and he LOVES talking about them.
