MOTUC Ninjor/Ninja Warrior WILL have ‘Day Of’ Sales in Feb – PLUS NEW BIOS for February Figures
January 29, 2015

When the February sale details were announced this week there was some confusion as to whether Ninja Warrior would have ‘day of’ stock available.   Originally fans were told during the 2015 Club Eternia subscription window that there would be NO Ninja Warrior ‘Day of’ sales, and that the figure would be a “sub only” figure like we have seen a few times in the past.  But in the Feb sale info posted by Mattel he was listed as being on sale in the regular/non-Early Access window.

Today one of the MattyCollector team, ‘Skeletor’s Love Child’ posted on the official message boards about this to clear things up:

Just a quick note to let you know Ninja Warrior will be available for Day Of sales this month; Huntara will be featured as the subscription only sale figure next month. I can’t give all the details of why this change was made but I will say Mattel is proactively working to avoid another Doomsday Unleashed delivery situation.

Thanks for your patience

To Sum up:  There WILL be day of sales for “Ninja Warrior” but NOT for Huntara.

To tide you over until the sale on 2/16, and while I’m still putting my features together for the February 2015 figures, and because some folks on the .Org requested, here are a few pictures of the February Club Eternia figures and all the new bios to whet your appetite:

Daniel Pickett
Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has been surrounded by collectables ever since. In 1999 he was confounded by a lack of information and news about some of his favorite toy lines he was collecting. Since he couldn’t find the information he decided to pursue it himself thinking other people might also be interested in the same news. He started writing a weekly column on the toy industry and action figure for a toy news site and in a years time he tripled the sites daily traffic with his updates, reviews and product features. He built relationships with every major toy manufacturer and many sculptors, painters and mold makers. He grew his hobby into a world wide expertise that the industry has embraced. In 2004 he teamed up with his toy buddy Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and they created their own website Daniel has been quoted in both industry and mass media press outlets. Over the years Daniel and AFi have been sought out as experts in the field. Daniel was regularly featured on “Attack of the Show” on the G4 network as the primary contributor to their “Mint On Card” segment, and our front page has been linked to from USA Today’s “Pop Candy” Blog twice. Daniel’s content has also been featured on,, The Wall Street Journal, The Saturday Evening Post,,,, Boing-Boing,, Ain’t It Cool News, the Official Star Wars blog, Geekologie, G4, CNet and Toy Fare magazine, among many others. He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows. But all of that really just sounds snooty and “tootin’ his own horn” – the long and short of it is that Daniel loves toys and he LOVES talking about them.

Does He-Man actually come with his snake armour shield? As it’s mentioned in the bio.

    • Voice of Reason says:

No, he doesn’t come with the shield mentioned in his bio. King Hiss’ top half/snake version will be included with another figure, so maybe that is the plan for the shield although nothing has been announced.

  • Jamps says:

Awesome figures! Probably the best month so far!

the spirit of king he-man is lame

    • Voice of Reason says:

The Spirit of Grayskull is actually an update of the ultra-exclusive variant made of the first MOTUC figure. Since there were only two Spirit of Grayskull figures made available to the public in 2008, having a GID version as the 2015 chase figure makes a lot of sense. Plus, it’s the annual chase figure, so it’s not like you’re required to buy it if you got a sub.
