Eaglemoss Invades NYCC ’17 in the Company of Aliens, Predators and Ships. Oh My!

“Alien & Predator Figurine Collection” Keeps Growing with Fan-Demanded Favorites!

(September 26, 2017 – New York, NY) Like the iconic creatures of the movies upon which the collection is based, new additions to Eaglemoss’ “Alien & Predator Figurine Collection” are seemingly unstoppable. This remains the first and only authorized collection of figurines based on characters from the Alien, Predator, AVP and Prometheus movie franchises and several new issues and limited edition variants are set to firmly plant themselves at Booth #1520 at New York Comic Con, including:
• Glow-in-the-Dark Xenomorph Grid Variant – Also known as “Nethead,” this glow-in-the-dark 5-1/2 inch tall variant is not available as part of a regular subscription to the collection

• MEGA-Sized Xenomoroph and Glow-in-the-Dark MEGA-Sized Xenomorph – 12-1/2 inches tall
• Alien Retro Figure 2-Packs – The debut of the first two sets of 1/16 scale figures based on the classic toy line from the 90’s; each pair comes packaged in a special collector’s box with a 5th panel window:
– Snake & Mantis
– Bull & Gorilla

• Specials Editions – Oversized versions of iconic creatures, including:
– Alien Queen, Alien Newborn and Alien King
– Egg with Facehugger

– The Pilot – Also known as the “Space Jockey,” this Engineer piloted the spacecraft that crashed on LV-426 and his body was discovered by the crew of the USCSS Nostromo in the opening scene of Alien.

• USCSS Nostromo – The first ship to be featured in the collection, it’s 8 inches in length and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Limited edition production run of only 3,000.

Daniel Pickett
Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has been surrounded by collectables ever since. In 1999 he was confounded by a lack of information and news about some of his favorite toy lines he was collecting. Since he couldn’t find the information he decided to pursue it himself thinking other people might also be interested in the same news. He started writing a weekly column on the toy industry and action figure for a toy news site and in a years time he tripled the sites daily traffic with his updates, reviews and product features. He built relationships with every major toy manufacturer and many sculptors, painters and mold makers. He grew his hobby into a world wide expertise that the industry has embraced. In 2004 he teamed up with his toy buddy Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and they created their own website Daniel has been quoted in both industry and mass media press outlets. Over the years Daniel and AFi have been sought out as experts in the field. Daniel was regularly featured on “Attack of the Show” on the G4 network as the primary contributor to their “Mint On Card” segment, and our front page has been linked to from USA Today’s “Pop Candy” Blog twice. Daniel’s content has also been featured on,, The Wall Street Journal, The Saturday Evening Post,,,, Boing-Boing,, Ain’t It Cool News, the Official Star Wars blog, Geekologie, G4, CNet and Toy Fare magazine, among many others.
