I also have a milder version of goal #4 for 2009. I just spent the entire day changing up my display by removing old toys that I’m no longer enamored with. Then I realized I have no place to store them, so they (and many more) are going up on Craigslist soon.

I can totally understand #4. I’m actually in a similar state of mind right now. Maybe not for the exact same reason as yours, but I can certainly relate to what you wrote.

#4 looks better and better to me every year. I’m pretty sure that’s where I’m headed, as well, but you have a few years on me.

That said, I’m quite certain The Otter will dance on my bones when I’m gone.

Well, I’m looking forward to your blogs/articles. I do understand #4. After having moved 3 times in 5 years I’m starting to feel the need to have only the essentials. I gave a bunch of stuff to Toys-For-Tots this year but it was only scratching the surface. Not as easy as it seems to thin out a collection.

Anyway, good luck with the resolutions! I sympathize with #2 – but don’t be a stranger!
