Jason Geyer has been part of the online toy world for over 10 years, having founded some of the very first toy sites on the web including Raving Toy Maniac, ToyOtter, and now Action Figure Insider. He is also a former toy designer who is now a marketing genius. If he does say so himself. And he does.

It has been a bad week for celebrity deaths. As you note, it's happened before, but somehow events like these hit you harder as you begin to age and familiar faces drop out from your your life. Jefferson and Adams would have received some major coverage had TV and the Net been around back then.

I'd forgotten how I've always liked Bob Uecker. Somebody should create a website for him while he's still with us, seeing how the list grows thinner every day.
