Jason Geyer has been part of the online toy world for over 10 years, having founded some of the very first toy sites on the web including Raving Toy Maniac, ToyOtter, and now Action Figure Insider. He is also a former toy designer who is now a marketing genius. If he does say so himself. And he does.

Question: What's the Red Skull figure based off of? I'm guessing a Nazi from the Indiana Jones line. Anybody know?

First thing I thought of when I saw the HML Cable/Marvel Girl 2pk was that masked head would be PERFECT for Spitfire. I don't like the hair enough for a 6" Firestar, tho.

I'm TRYING to NOT buy the MU line, altho the never produced figures they are coming out with are making me want to give in.... :(

Agreed. Loved the packaging on both the Destro and Invaders sets. Destro edges out Cap's guys with his family timeline, which is one of the coolest ideas I have seen in years. Both sets are musts for any true fan who can grab one.

The Invaders set and the Destro two pack were far and away the best exclusives this year and Hasbro really amped up the packaging. The prices were a bit steep (though not too bad all things considered) and I loved how the packages worked. I think I might like the Destro package just a bit more, but the Invaders set is right there with it. Some great work on the figures inside too. Definitely not perfect, but very fun. Loving that Torch.
