Jason,Great haul .But if you want a better Goblin to replace your Mego version. The best interpretation was the Superhero Showdown version made by Toy Biz. Just picked up the Venom myself last night at a Toys R Us and really want another so that I can make a custom Parasite.

watching the new Wolv/X-Men dvd last night with Xavier vs Sentinels.
Would it be that hard to turn that Skrull into an animated Sentinel with a repaint and a new head? I have yet to see any of these GB/Icons in person, so I have nothing to compare it to. But it would be in scale, yes?

Dang! Would o' loved to get him, as he's the only hole in my PSH collection.

While I have you here... my favorite toy line of all time is Kenner's Super Powers, so I just wanted to take the time to hand you a long overdue THANKS for all the great SP work you've done over the years.

That Snowspeeder Luke does look great. I'm telling ya, Hasbro Star Wars 3 3/4 figures have really come a long way. A few years ago they did that VOTC thing where we pay more for a superior figure. Now all the figures we're getting as basics are that same (if not better) quality. Really good stuff. Great haul!

I have to say, going into this Holiday Season Hasbro product was really well stocked and easy to find, even here in the La-la-land of 1000 scalpers (aka Los Angeles).

About the only Hasbro product I had any difficulty finding was the City Strike Snake Eyes (Resolute), but I did find one in a case I had to open myself, lol.

Joe, Star Wars, Marvel and Transformers were well represented and had I been inclined I would have been able to find most if not all of the new fall product at normal brick and mortar retail.

Not at all the case with another toy CoMpAny ThaT shall rEmain nameLess.

Hourman: no, they did not. But I got the SW X-Wing pilot LUke just as ESB was coming out, and used it in the Snowspeeder much more than I did the X-Wing. I personally like that version of the outfit much better, too.

Clutch: Just opened the Spidey figures; it's mixed bag. GG uses the same old body all the other ones have used (GG, Hobgoblin). The head is ball jointed, but can't turn much due to the sculpting of the hat. The color is a bit too dark green, but he matches the old Mego one, so I'm ok with it.

Venom, however, has zero leg or torso articulation! Just ball-jointed hips, shoulders, elbows, and head. Plus a bicep swivel. But he's awesome! I almost wish they'd sacrifice some articulation more often at this scale, in favor of a good sculpt.

That said, Luke Hoth is SICK with how well they hid the massive amount of articulation, This might very well be my favorite figure of all last year. So much so I'm about to blog about the love!
