For the first time, I’m actually getting all of a new DC Universe Classics wave without looking for it, without hunting it down, and without paying more than retail cost. In fact, I’m paying less! I ordered the entire wave through Amazon a couple of weeks ago, and got them all for the average retail price of $14.99 each. Plus, there is no tax going through Amazon, and since I’m signed up for Amazon Prime I didn’t pay shipping, either. Pretty cool! I got a notice that they all shipped today, and Negative Man is already here, having shipped a few days early for some reason.
If I can pull this off for every wave I may never go on a toy hunt again. And I’ll be all the happier for it, too!
Yup, I got my Superboy today (it shipped yesterday)! It was weird too cause some guy in a minivan delivered it.
Anyway, if DCU can be bought this easily my life as a Mattel toy collector has just improved 110%. Which means I’d be more willing to not only buy off Amazon but from Mattel.
Great to hear, Jason! BBTS is driving me nuts with their shipping delays so I might just give Amazon a try next time around.

The ability to walk into my LCS and pic up new DC Direct figures off the shelf like new music releases is why I have bought more DC Direct than DCUC since DCUC started.

Yup, same here. Bought the entire set through Amazon, sans Cyclotron for less than $90. All are being delivered this week!

that is cool that amazon seems to be doing what Mattel is suppose to do with the dc waves. and also at retail. for have bought some figures from amazon in the past may have to go and get negative man. and maybe see if they have the trigon wave yet. nice for amazon to pick up the slack and maybe start the end for frustrated dc collectors.
