Hi there! For those of you who don't know me, I call myself Dare, and have been an almost daily nuisance at Raving Toy Maniac for almost a decade now.

Way back then the USA was where all the big toy moving and shaking was happening, but in the last few years, we've seen a large shift of the focus in toy collecting towards Japanese and Asia-only products, like trading figures, gashapon, and so on. Also, with retail being what it is today, it isn't surprising to see products originally meant for American release make their way overseas as exclusive items. I've been invited over to AFI, after brief stints as reviewers at RTM and Action-figure.com, to help with that angle. Here I hope to show products that may have missed the international spotlight just because they're not from Hasbro or Mattel, as well as highlight exclusive items so that collectors interested in them can make better decisions about their purchases.

Alas, there's so much stuff out there, and my interest is limited in scope and my wallet is even more limited. So if you'd like to know more about a product or line and you can't find info elsewhere, drop me an email. I'm also open to covering new or existing lines (especially if there'll be free swag involved. LOL)
