Hola, amigos!!  My name is Mike Walker and I’m reporting to you from sunny San Diego, California!  Welcome to Open Mike, my home and soapbox here at Action Figure Insider.  Those of you who frequent the forums here at AFI and various other action figure message boards probably know me better by the nom de plume SD comics.  That’s the screen name that I’ve been using for nearly ten years now.

What we’re going to do here is talk about action figures, comic books, genre movies, animation, video games, sci-fi, epic fantasy and all those things that we fans love so dearly.  I also plan to post interviews with professionals from different industries: Sculptors, artists, writers, directors, designers, animators, editors and whoever else I can eventually wear down with my incessant whining, begging and pleading for their time.

So sit back and relax.  My objective is to inform, enlighten and entertain you.  But most of all, I want you to have fun.  That’s going to be the keyword here.  Thanks for reading!
