Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva Joins Round 5 as Final Collectible Character in Series 2 Collection

Markham, ON, Canada – After much anticipation, Round 5 releases the name of their fourth character in their North American MMA collectible figure series. Rounding out the current roster of MMA Champions to be immortalized in plastic, Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva completes the collection scheduled to hit stores this Christmas season. Joining him in the second collectible series are, Sean “The Muscle Shark” Sherk, Anderson “The Spider” Silva, and Rich “Ace” Franklin.

 President of Round 5 Damon Lau says of the fourth character announcement, ”After the successful release of our first series, we are thrilled to secure Wanderlei Silva as the fourth and final character to join our eagerly awaited Series 2."

 Round 5’s line of collectable figures are made to celebrate milestone victories and respond to Mixed Martial Arts mass appeal. Similar to the Series 1 collectibles, these figurines are created with a fine attention to detail, and are fashioned in the fighter’s signature pose. The 6” MMA collectable figures will be available in stores across North America including Champ Sports, F.Y.E. (For Your Entertainment), KB Toys, Toys R Us Canada and distributed exclusively in the UK by Made For Fighters.

Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s.
