Xbox and eBay Unveil Custom Tomb Raider Game Console

Leading up to the highly-anticipated release of “Shadow of a Tomb Raider™” on September 14th, eBay for Charity and Microsoft are offering super fans a chance to own a one-of-kind Xbox One X Shadow of the Tomb Raider console. Full proceeds from the sale of the console will be donated to benefit the Best Friends Animal Society, a leading national animal welfare organization.

Recently, SQUARE ENIX® and Xbox teamed up on a re-creation of the game trailer in celebration of National Dog Day, titled, “Shadow of the Cute Raider”. In the new version, Lara Croft is hijacked by adorable cats and dogs that are mastering the deadly jungle and racing to save the world from a Mayan apocalypse.

From now through September 5, gamers can visit eBay to bid on the exclusive “Shadow of Tomb Raider™” bundle (above) including the customized Xbox One X console, a matching wireless controller and a digital download of the game. Additionally, fans can bid on three other Xbox One X bundles (HERE), autographed by Tomb Raider star Camilla Luddington.

Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows. But all of that really just sounds snooty and “tootin’ his own horn” – the long and short of it is that Daniel loves toys and he LOVES talking about them.
